Open Army recruitment rally will be held in Kullu,HP on 22nd May


Army Recruitment Office, Mandi will go to held open recruitment rally for Army in the Dhalpur Sports Ground, Kullu from the 22nd May this year. So the interested eligible candidates can reach on the same venue on the exact date and timing. This open rally will be continues for the next one week in the same ground.

Details of Posts:

They will recruit the candidates for the posts of Solders General Duty (GD), Clerks, Store Keeper and DSC category. They have not mention the total numbers of posts but they will select those candidates who will qualify the all the round of qualification including the physical fitness test which will be held in the end of examination.

Eligibility Conditions:
The candidates belonging to the Mandi, Kullu, Lahual and Spiti district can attend this open rally and no other candidates can attend this rally because other candidates are not eligible.

For the post of General Duty, the candidates must have passed the matriculation examination with at least 45% marks from the recognized board and incase candidates have passed the senior secondary examination than no marks are needed. The age of the candidates must lies between the 17 to 21 means candidates age must lies between the 22nd May 1993 to 21st November 1996 are eligible for the GD posts.

While for the post of Clerks candidate’s age must lies between the 22nd May 1991 to 21st November 1996. The candidates must have passed the +2 examination with 50% marks and each subject must pass with at least 40 marks.

Important dates:
This open army recruitment rally will be started from the 22nd May to 28th May in the Dhalpur Sports Ground, Kullu. On 22nd May open recruitment rally will be conduct for GD posts and only Kullu and Lahual and Spiti districts candidates can attend this rally. On 23rd May candidates belonging from the Thunaag, Chachyot, Sadar Mandi and Ladbhadol Ares of the Mandi district can attend the rally. On 24th May remaining candidates belonging from the other parts of Mandi district can attend the rally. On 25th May rally will be conduct for Clerks post for the candidates belonging to the Mandi district and on 26th May candidates belonging from the Kullu and Lahual and Spiti can attend the rally.

Conclusion:
The interested candidates are required to bring their original documents along with themselves including the matric certificates, caste certificates, character certificate, domicile certificate, unmarried certificates along with 12 color password size photos. The candidates are required to reach on the venue at 5am in the early morning. The written examination for the selected candidates in the first round will be held on 31st August 2014 in the Bhalabh Government College, Mandi in the morning from 9am.

Indian army has isued notification on conducting a recruitment rally at kasargod district of kerala from May 19 to 30, 2014 for selection towards the posts of Soldier General Duty (GD), Soldier technical, Soldier clerk , Soldier store keeper,Soldier tradesmen (TDN), Soldier general duty dispensation category (DC).

Candidates from following districts of kerala and UT's are requested to appear for the rally on the dates alloted for them.

Territorial Army recruitment rally at Meluri



A recruitment rally will be held at Local Ground, Meluri under Phek district from May 9 to 10 for enrolment of male candidates into the 164 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) (Home and Hearth) NAGA. The recruitment is only for the Naga tribal residents of Phek district. There are twelve vacancies for Soldier General Duty, one vacancy for Clerk (Staff Duty) and one vacancy for Steward.

The eligibility conditions for Soldier General Duty (Sol GD) are: Minimum 8th class passed, 18 to 42 years, i.e. born not before May 10, 1972 and not after May 10, 1996 (both days inclusive), should be employed in Govt/ Semi Govt/ Pvt Sector or self employed, minimum height of 152 cm, minimum weight 50 kgs (+2 kg) and Chest minimum 77 cms with expansion of 5 cms.

The eligibility conditions for Soldier Clerk General Duties (Clk GD) are: Minimum 10+2/ Intermediate Exam in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) passed with English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping as compulsory subjects in 10th or 12th  standards with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. The age, employment, and physical statistics criteria will be the same as mentioned in the Soldier General Duty category.

The eligibility conditions for Steward are: Minimum 5th class passed. The age, employment, and physical statistics criteria will be the same as mentioned above.

Preliminary Screening: The screening of candidates will commence at 06:00 AM on May 9, 2014 and May 10, 2014. The candidates have been advised to report at the rally site before 6 am. Before conduct of test, candidates will be put through a preliminary screening for Height, Weight and permanent body tattoos which are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body is not acceptable and candidate will be barred from further screening. The candidate will have to undergo physical tests - Run of 1.6 Km, Chin Ups, Balance Beam and 9 feet ditch. This will be followed by written test of shortlisted candidates after screening. Medical examination and documentation of all candidates will be done after the initial selection.

Documents required to be submitted are: Two sets of Photostat of each original document - copy of education certificate, character certificate (should be less than six month old on the date of recruitment rally), Permanent Residential/ Indigenous/ Domicile Certificate with full address (Village, Post Office, Police Station, Tehsil, District, State and Pin Code) duly photo affixed and attested/ signed by DC/ADC, Unmarried certificate from village administrative head duly endorsing his office seal for candidate below 21 years of age and two copies of latest passport size photograph of candidate in light blue or white background. Photographs should NOT be attested.

Terms and conditions: Present government sanction for the Battalion is till March 30, 2015; thereafter the candidate will be called for two months annual training camp each year and will be disembodied on completion of said Annual Training Camp, in case embodiment under Rule-33 is not extended.

Pay and allowances: The pay and other facilities during embodiment will be after Recruitment training Basic Pay-6400+2000 (Grade Pay)+2000 (MSP) per month + applicable dearness allowances, free food, accommodation, uniform, CSD facilities, free medical facilities and other allowances as applicable to Regular Army and Pension benefits if individual completes 15 year paid service.

How to Fill TA Application Form(with Reference)


Indian Territorial Army has recently published the notification of TA Aug 2014.


Here you can check out step by step guidance on how to fill application form. If you find any difficulty while applying for TA, Plz comment below. It is advised to read the notification and instructions given on the Notification carefully before applying.


Before we move forward, I would like to say that Incomplete/illegible applications will lead to rejection of applications. So applying for TA is a cakewalk.
All the Scanned formats attached below are just for reference purpose, all candidates are advised to fill the details as per their knowledge.

Print Application form in good A4 size paper.
Form completed in all respects will be accepted till 30 June 2014
Incomplete application will be rejected without intimation.

Write in block capital in blue ball point pen. In case of variation in Name as given to Matric Certificate attach an affidavit.

3) Permanent Address:
Give a Address where you can produce Domicile Certificate.(Domicile Certificate required at the time of PIB interview)

4) Present Address:
If your Present Address is same as that of Permanent Address then you can write as --DO--.

4) (A) Choice of written exam centre:
You are required to fill up choice of Exam centre as per your respective zone on which your state belong.

5&6) Date of Birth & Gender:
Fill Date of Birth as per your Metric Certificate .For gender Just Strike out Once on 'F'

7) No. of attempts already made in SSB for:
Example: If your attempts in SSB is zero in CDS & NDA & one in TA then write "ZERO" in both CDS & NDA and "ONE" in TA.

Some candidates confused with the meaning of Next of kin ,It means  "a person's closest living blood relative or relatives". So write your next of kin name as per your choice.

Benefits for Territorial Army personnel during Training & Service embodiment




Territorial Army personnel are entitled to the following benefits from the Defence Estimates during embodiment for training and service embodiment:

Pay and allowances and Service Benefits - When embodied as applicable to Regular Army.
Camp allowance of Rs 10/- per day when attending camps or courses of instruction (For Officers).

Increment On completion of 365 days of physical service.

Bounty  Rs 450/- to Officers Rs 300/- for JCOs and Rs 175/- to Other Ranks of infantry units, on completion of minimum 80% of annual training camp every year.

TA Group Insurance benefits to personnel of non-departmental TA units.

Terminal gratuity : After completing 5 years of physical service or 10 years of total service to personnel other than civil Govt. employees.


Pension : On Completion of 20 years physical service to officers and 15 years to JCOs/OR other than civil Govt. employees.

Family/disability Pension  is also admissible as applicable to Regular Army.

Leave as admissible to Regular Army personnel during embodiment of service and appointment on permanent instructional staff.

Accumulation and encashment of leave accrued during the above period, as per terms and conditions laid down from time to time.

Ex-servicemen status to pensioners and disability pension holders and Gallantry award winners.

Free Medical treatment to self and dependants in respect of all pension holders.

Outfit allowance: @Rs 6000/- at the time of commissioning and after every 7 years of physical service or 10 years of commissioned service to officers, 
Rs 3200/- to Honorary Commissioned officers and Rs 500/- to JCOs.

Medals and Awards as applicable to Regular Army.  In addition, TA officers are entitled to TA Decoration on completion of 20 years and JCOs and OR to

Singh was commissioned into the 2nd Battalion of The Rajput Regiment (Kali Chindi) on 14 June 1970. He then commanded the same unit when it was positioned along the Line Of Control with Pakistan.

General Vijay Kumar Singh PVSM, AVSM, YSM, ADC is the 26th Chief of Army Staff. A highly decorated Officer, he is the 33rd International Fellow and the first Indian Armed Forces officer to be inducted into the United States Army War College International Fellows Hall of Fame. He graduated from the Defence Services Staff College as a Honours graduate of the United States Army Infantry School, topped the Rangers Course at Fort Benning and was inducted into the United States Army War College International Fellows Hall of Fame; the first Indian Armed Forces officer to do so.

He is a retd. Vir Chakra Prapt Wing Commender. He is originally from Mhow (Indore). On 23 September 1987, then Flight Lieutenant Abdul Nasir Hanfee was launched in Siachen area to assist the Army. Taking off in a short time, he undertook the much needed Army support missions in the area. Flying from sunrise to sunset in marginal weather conditions with frequent snow blizzards and whiteout conditions and frequent adversary shelling of the posts, he achieved 14 to 15 sorties a day for three continuous days, with total disregard to his personal safety. He single-handedly managed to provide the much-needed logistic support for two days which was a big morale booster for our troops in Siachen Glacier area. fighting in a hostile terrain.

In a restricted area where the guns were required to fire continuously to meet the adversary's challenge, he also showed exceptional professionalism by evacuating 38 casualties in a single day from the area with undue disregard to his personal safety.
Thus, Flight Lieutenant Abdul Nasir Hanfee exhibited high degree of professional skill and courage in the face of the adversary. For this mission he was awarded the Vir Chakra. Awrads: Vir chakra Previously he has taken part in Jaiprakash Narayan movement & nirbhaya andolan.

4.Colonel Rajyawardhan Singh Rathore,AVSM
BJP Candidate From Jaipur Rural
At 2002 Commonwealth Games, Rathore won a Gold Medal and set a new Commonwealth Games Record of 192 targets out of 200, which still stands. Rathore, went on to successfully defend his Commonwealth Champion title by winning the Gold Medal at the Melbourne Commonwealth Games in 2006.  He won Gold Medals in two World Shooting Champions at Sydney in 2004 and Cairo in 2006.

In 2006, Rathore won a Bronze Medal in the World Championship in Spain.Rathore is accredited for winning the Asian Clay Target Gold Medal for four times in a row from 2003 to 2006.

5.Major Dr(Rtd) Surendra Poonia ,VSM (Vishisht  Seva Medal)

He was inspired by the Jan Lokpal Andolan and retired from the army to dedicate himself to the service of the nation.
The youngest recipient of the President’s award - Vishisht Seva Medal in 2013 and a qualified doctor. He was involved in counter-insurgency operations in Kashmir and had first hand exposure to the happenings in Kashmir.
He won 3 consecutive gold medals in Powerlifting in the World Medical Games in Croatia 2010, Spain 2011 and Turkey 2012. Won 5 Gold, 8 Silver and 3 Bronze medals in the last three years in international championships in varied events – Powerlifting, Javelin, Discus and 400/800/10,000 meters running.
Major (R) Dr. Poonia Served the elite 10 Para Commando, 2 Para Commando and 5 Para Airborne Special Forces in Kashmir, Siachen & Peace Keeping mission Congo.

6.Lt General Raj Kadyan 
AAP Candidate from Jhunjhunu,Rajasthan
Retired as Lt. General (deputy chief of Army staff) from Indian army. He has extensively worked for welfare of Ex servicemen. Formed an organization ISEM for ex servicemen. Fought a battle for one rank one pension for ex servicesmen. Stays in Gurgaon. Jhunjhunu has large number of ex servicemen mostly from Jat Community. There might be some resistance from volunteers, he being an outsider but he has higher winability.

Jaswant SIngh was in Army in late 1960s ,alumnus of NDA,Khadakwasla . He has left BJP and will fight as an Independent Candidate ,although he is experienced politician in NDA regime.

About Territorial Army Officer Requirement Notification Aug 2014


Indian Territorial Army Examination is an exam conducted twice every year by Territorial Army Commission. For 2014 the first of TA has already been conducted in February and results is almost declared.Most of you must be curious to know that when the second Indian Territorial Army will be conducted.

Eligibility Conditions:

  1. Only male citizens of India and Ex-service officers who are medically fit.
  2. Age: 18 to 42 years.
  3. Qualification: Graduate from any recognized university.
  4. Employment: Gainfully Employed in Central Govt / Semi  Govt / Pvt Firm / Own business / Self Employed.
  5. NOTE: Serving Employees of Polices / Para Military Forces are not eligible.

Here are few details regarding TA Aug 2014 Exam:

  1. Date of Notification: First week of May.
  2. Last date for receipt of applications: Last Week of June.
  3. Date of Examination: Aug 2014.
  4. Results: After 10 days of Written Exam.
