All Candidates will be directly intimated through email/sms/call by their concerned TA Gp HQ.

DeleteIt seems tht u hv no idea of previous TA exams n u r here jst for BC. Last yr, 350+ had passed frm Pune centre n 113 cleared PIB interview, I was one of them. In SSB, total 14 were recommended from B'lore including Maj Kalsi's son. So, dnt be over smart, people here r genuine unlike u.

there is a lot of discrepancy and biasedness this time round...the cut off had to be 50 % as per the offical exam and the guidelines. when i came back i was getting 75 % in quant and LR and 60% in english and G.K. still could not get through. the result is absolutely erroneous and incorrect and illegal... it should be challenged by all.. may be an RTI for the subkect wise marks of all candidates along with the rationale of declaring the list, would do the justice
DeleteLast time in August 2015 pib 355 candidates cleared from pune centre. What results you are talking about? You might have cleared so you didn't realise. It's discussed in other blog about pune centre issue and the subsequent delay. We all hold armed force in high dignity and put in efforts to clear it dear. So it's a huge difference in result trend.

ReplyDeleteWhat about the shillong centre result of eastern command. Our roll number started with SHI but I can find only kolkata result in the eastern command sheet. What's the matter
ReplyDeleteI see that only 9 person cleared from Shillong Centre. There name and roll number is mentioned in the top of the Eastern Command's list.
DeleteFrom pune centre itself last year it was 355 candidates. Bro I Had cleared CDS on every attempt of mine and many such competitive exams and appeared for SSB also several times. I believe the papers were very easy this time for ta and have attempted more than 70% perfectly. Most of the candidates who appeared from pune centre are shocked on this result as they were sure of clearing. We hold this esteemed organisation on high regards and therefore trying to be a part of this, but I feel if some issue like this can be a hurdle to aspirants next time also. If there was some issue, candidates should be informed. We too are ready to cope up with it.

ReplyDeleteWhen it was said that exam will be conducted in UPSC format, why is the negative marking of 33.33% not followed.
Was the negative marking in TA been always 50%??
Dear Prasad If the negative marks would have been issue,I would not have written such a details. And have considered 50% negative marking while appearing for exam and subsequently attempted the questions.
DeleteCertainly you should file an RTI, if you are so confident. You did not answer whether 50% was old norm.

ReplyDeleteThis is the first time that TA has introduced negative marking & that too 0.5%. The result is very low, even lower thn the CDS & UPSC prelims if we see pass %. Like this, TA may not be able to get the kind of people they want. The profession does not demand such a tough result oriented exam because still there are two more stages ie. PIB & SSB, if they screen out such a huge lot of people at written level only then they should remove PIB interview & all successful candidates should be directly sent for SSB after document scrutiny. Anyways, congrtas to successful candidates & best wishes for the remaining tests.

ReplyDeleteGuys just wanted to share the exp .I attempted PIB interview at western command.It was quite surprising that for 6 hours only documents were checked.This time TA has become quite strict in paper formalities.Some candidates were sent back just because the format of medical certificate was not correct,or the stamp of medical officer didnt have the regn number.

My intrview was quite good and lastd for 8min.few wierd questions were asked which were irrelevant.

DeleteHi.questions will be from the recent Uri attack a nd from the pib form which you will fill up once you arrive at command HQ.But it depends upon the panel as to what ques they ask.
DeleteI was asked two questions related to my religion and rest were from my pub form.
Make sure you take all docs related to your income including income tax document.
This time the HQ's are quite stringent in checking the documents.one shortfall of document and you will be out.

is there any way to get the marks of the written examination. this time in the name of OMR the ARMY did a very shoddy work the OMR were just a sheet of A4 size paper, which could never be scanned with any device, I think.

I am not sure but I think they would have used a stencil to check the "so called OMR" sheet.
Establishment please do not do such shoddy work in future

I would like to share my experience.
ReplyDeleteThe written result was to be declared on 18 August 2016. I reached the Territorial Army Officer's Institute in Kolkata to check the result. However, did not find the result displayed. Hence talked to one 'Lieutenant Colonel' ranked officer. He informed me with conviction that the result will be declared on 31 August 2016. So I waited for this day. However, the result was not declared on 31 August 2016 too.
So did that officer tell lie to me on the first day? The answer is NO. On 18 August, people were informed that it will be declared by the end of August. Yet due to some unavoidable circumstances the result got delayed further.
The same scenario persists now. No one know when the result be declared. If any one know then don't want to inform as who know he could be found wrong later-on if result is not published that said day.
So, wait and keep referring each day to http://www.indianarmy.nic.in/ for result.

@New Aspirant....Bro,TA is permanent commission.You can serve whole life in Army as Territorial Army,not as Regulart Army.

I read it somewhere that recruitment for TA are held twice a year.Unfortunately I have to wait till June 2017.
Warm goodmorning to all first of all apologies for the results date . I posted the same as i got it from a high ranking official of Territorial Army itself. However the results have now been postponed to 2nd week of November as according to them the de indexing has not been completed. However i know each of us are anxious to know our results . I shall post once i get hands on info.

DeleteAs for self description for self employed . You might be self employed but your nature of work would require you to interact with people . You need to give opinion of those persons whom you have impacted by your self employment. Eg if ur a tutorial job your candidates their guardian etc
ReplyDeletetoday i called up Eastern Command to enquire about PIB interview results...they informed me it would take about 10 more days or so... the results have been already send to Delhi...now it is at the discretion of the Delhi office to declare the results when appropriate....
