ReplyDelete2) First thing your company is providing NOC for employment as a part time officer, in case if u want to serve in army and your company is not granting leave for your training purposes and service then u can resign from u r current job & join TA permanently.
i dont think so ...kindly clarify ...in case of TA Infantry is there permanent commision .???

DeleteN I have personally discuss this matter with Officer of 120 Infantry Battalion (TA) Bhubaneswar. They also said that TA provides permanent commission.

As per your query there is a direct entry for the candidate having NCC C certificate Gainfully employed(age18-42) as junior Commissioned officer (which is a rank below TA Officers & above jawan).
DeleteThere is no written exam, candidates will be interviewed initially by the Commanding Officer of the unit and then interviewed by the Sub Area/ Area Command Headquarters.
The application of the recommended candidate will then be processed at the Addl Directorate General of Territorial Army, Army Headquarters.

After clearing the written exam of TA, u'll be called for PIB. There u'll get a Personal Information Questionnaire form. In that form u'll mention all ur qualification including ur personal achievements. After clearing the PIB followed by SSB and commission,

I am doing my own business and right now my income is still below two lakhs since its my first year in my business so can I still apply for TA since I am not filling any ITR ...

As ur annual income is less than 2 lakh (NOT TAXABLE)so don't need to fill any ITR.
DeleteDoesnt matter whether u r paying the ITR or nt, but u should
b employed in any field, whether the salary is even 5000 per mnth.
Just u need is to get sign of a gazetted officer on the application form
Clear the written. U hv to submit uq income certificate and make a affidavit
on it.

ReplyDeleteHi Smruti...your blog is really very useful. i have appeared for cds ssb in Bangalore 10 years back and was out after 5 days of stay. want to know do they have the same process for T.A also. i read that you have been out twice from ssb...what could be the possible reason behind this ? i have to write my exam on 9 Feb in Lucknow. what prep i should do for it. i am a Ph,D student receiving a scholarship of 22,000/- p.m since it is not a full time job could it be a hindrance for me to clear the interview. since i do not file any ITR.

DeleteAs per TA commission you should be employed in any field.as you are not paying for ITR so show them that you have untaxable income (i,e less than 2 lakh).
while submitting your application you just need to get sign of a gazetted officer on the application form.
n you have to submit your affidavit income certificate at the time of interview.
because of silly mistakes on conference i was conference out..

Lets assume i join TA as an infantry officer....And if i am not wrong,i have 2 months of service due in every year..
Lets assume i am free for two months in a year which are june and july..in 2014...can i choose my month of service?
How will i select the months in 2015?..Will it be june and july only?..or can i do it in august and september?
so my overall question is..i have to do 2 months of service but how do i select which months?and do i select them or does the TA decides it?
2.Please explain the training with an example
if i join TA In 2015
in 2015..i will have to do 2 months of annaul training+1 month of recruit training
in 2016..i will do 2 months of annaul training + post commission training of 10 weeks
in 2017..i will only have to do 2 months of annual training..

If you got a phone means you have selected.Generally SSB held 4-5 months after PIB. after 4-5 months they will publish results with SSB venue and date..so of luck for your SSB..prepare your self for SSB frm now here

If a candidate is selected and joins TA as an officer Is there any compulsion for him to serve TA for more than two months. If there are options for him according to TA to join according to his suitability of time. How much TA services are flexible. As for Govt. officers answers to these questions are very important. One side his eagerness toward joining TA volunteer services and other side his his job.

thank you for the info .i've thought a little more on this in a more organised way they state in ta advt. "Self Employed candidates or having own Business are required to submit an Affidavit on Non-Judicial stamp paper value of Rs. 10/- duly attested by the Deputy Commissioner of the District / Gazetted Officer / Commissioned Officer......" .my father's friend in a judge in bangalore .but my father's (and his family's) agricultural lands are in Bijapur(a district in karnataka ) now if i get an affidavit prepared that i am employed in my father's fields working there part time .salary can be such that i don't have to file income tax returns .all that can be mentioned in affidavit .now ta advt. says affidavit must be attested by deputy commissioner of the district /gazatted officer/commissioned officer etc. can a judge in bangalore also issue the affidavit or it has to be done by someone from Bijapur ? both bangalore and bijapur are in k'nataka .i would be really grateful for help thank you

for better information on this affidavit you better contact a nearest lawyer..he better know than me..
don't waste your time on thinking about this affidavit just prepare your self for this exam..you will get an affidavit easily..

4) In the 2 months of service each year can I be stationed in Delhi so I can also continue to monitor my business by phone, emails, or meetings in evenings after duty hours. I need to also take care of my business in the 2 months.
5) If I get to Join, I guess it will be a Lieutenants rank, how is the promotion thereafter.
6) When can the medical, csd, or other benefits be availed, only in 2 months or all the year round.

I am a domicile of Uttar Pradesh ( lucknow ) residing in Karnataka since past 12 years and currently working with an MNC in Bangalore.
I am in the process of filling the form but need clarification on point 19 - certificate to be rendered by candidates employed in private sector .
> The worry is convincing my employer to sign and stamp this !
Reason -
One month basic training in the first year of commission.
Two months annual training camp every year including the first year.
Three months Post Commissioning training within first two years at IMA Dehradun.
Why would any Private Company agree for this ?
However I can try to talk and may be convince them if know more about Training schedule .
Can the training be done on Weekends / Holidays and in Bangalore ?
Please let me know the details.
