The PIB(TA) Interview is Conducted generally 10to20 days of the written exam.The Candidates those who clear the Written Exam are Informed about their PIB dates through SMS or Call from the commander Headquarters. The Candidates has to report in their respective Territorial Army Group Headquarters for PIB. The PIB begins in 0730Hrs Onwards in the morning.
Document Verification Stage:-
The First Step is document verification stage. Here one Army Personal of Army Education Corp verifies all the required documents of the candidate Which are Mandatory Failing Which the candidature of the candidates rejected for the Interview.
Documents required at the time of Interview......
1. Medical fitness certificate from Registered Medical practitioner/Govt civil Hospital From a MBBS qualified doctor will only be entertained.
2.Income Certificate from employer for serving personnel

3. For self employed candidates or having own Business are required to submit an Affidavit on Non Judicial stamp paper value Rs.10/- duly attested by the Deputy Commissioner of the District / Gazetted Officer / Commissioned Officer stating nature of self employment and income earned annually with the attested nature of self employment and income earned annually with the attested photocopy of the PAN Card.
4. Character Certificate from a Gazetted Officer issued within six month priror to the PIB, is only acceptable.

6. No objection Certificate with stamp & seal of the office from the employer for serving personnel.

One Senior Psychologist from the DRDO, one interviewing Officer from the regular army generally a rank of a major General or Brigadier,and an officer from Territorial Army generally a rank of colonel or Lt. colonel. They see whether the candidate is fit for the service or not.

I don't think any body will sign NOC with this line present on the certificate.

ReplyDeleteMy friend's relative is Captain in Indian Army. He told me that its a waste to join Indian army. He pointed out the following reasons-
1) You wont get regular pay
2)Its a part time so if you work in private firm you will never get a NOC.
3)No allowances for rest of the period when not in Training.
4) Grade is lower when compared with regular army
5)He also added some words by which I felt really bad, (disgraced TA. )
Now I'm having second thoughts. Should I join or not.
Since you are an TA officer. I would like to ask you. Could you contradict the statements? Please don't say "you get a chance to serve the country and wear an uniform" apart from this???

I have qualified for Assistant in Kendriya Vidyalaya and skill test is scheduled on 12/03 at Delhi.
I have also qualified for TA. I have informed to attend for interview on 10 & 11/03 at Southern command, pune.
Tight schedule is there in between both above and I am planning to attend for both the tests.
Kindly clarify the following,
1. As I have short time in between 11th and 12th to fly to Delhi, what will be the max time for completing interview for individual and also what will be the time for completing interview for whole batch in a day. SO that i can plan for Delhi from Pune.
2. In case, if i got selected for both, then again clash may happen in training schedule. What do i do? Kindly guide.
3. Today i am taking medical certificate from Civil Surgeon & RMO. Yesterday he asked me to have tests for colour blindness, Hearing etc. The result of the tests is not yet informed.

1. Actually i got passed the exam and i have PIB interview day after tomorrow.
But unfortunately, my company is not ready to give me NOC as they are not ready to give me leave for 1-2 months.
PL. suggest me any way.
I do not want to loose this opportunity.
2. Can we give some kind of affidavit/self declaration that if we got selected and when need to attend training then i will not claim to company/army for counting these training days to my experience or pay gap between the salary. Thus in this way we need not to produce any document through company.
3. Since the selection procedure is quite length PIB - SSC - Result - Posting. May be we change the company, that company may be allow me or may not be. may be we start own business / self employment from where i can able to attend training.
4. If due to some reasons we are not able to attend the training then what kind of punishment will be put on us.
Pl. resolve my doubts.

2. NOC from employer - What if employer does not provide as its private company. What is the alternate or simplied NOC format.
3. Risk document from parents - what would be the contents

2- Income from Dist Magistrate/Tehsildar in original.
I can get affidavit from any Notary at local court but how to get second one[Income from dist magistrate]?

I have been working in the software industry for the last 10+ years. Currently unemployed though. The software companies don't accept the fact that we will need to serve the country as part time officers. Hence am planning to apply as self-employed.
I still have a couple of questions, though I have read your entire blog and comments -
1) I have a tattoo in my right arm, will this be a hindrance in my selection?
2) Are there any chances of converting the part time service into full time on the grounds of some exceptional performance by a TA officer (considering that am already 33 yrs old)?

Delete1.SSB of TA Commission is as same as Regular Commission(IMA,OTA,NDA,etc)
