i heard that in PIB there is one more written test before interview, is it true ? or in PIB they just verify your documents and take your interview ??

After clearing the written when u'll go for PIB, u'll be given a biodata form to be filled.
There u'll mention ur professional qualification B.Pharm or whatever. As per my
knowledge is concern u r eligible for the Army Medical Corp So u hv 2 fill the form as ur qualification.

Hey parvesh I appeared for d exam from pine sountern command but southern didn't respond to my phone call I contacted Chandigarh HQ who informed me on phone that result will be published in local news paper Chandigarh for d aspirants concerned to that HQ on 27 th Feb.

Smruti ji, your presence is praise worthy. I have a doubt about a post you wrote earlier about the terms of service in TA. Pls l want to be corrected if I m wrong. TA is not permanant but purely part time basis avocation. The post becomes regular only when in embodiment.It is as per advertisement of TA. Being a state govt. servent I shall not be allowed time to time for TA service. Can I join TA for 12 months a year for 60 yearsleaving my permanent job and get full salary/month? Is it possible? As for TA written exam. you need to have basic knowledge about reasoning, current affairs and basic english grammar for finding error; synonym/antonym etc. nothing more.English Essay writing should be given much emphasis as it makes difference among candidates. Topis are not very tough. These depend on socio-political issues.Afert passing PIB written, you will be called for interview and you will be judged by 4/5 army officers and a silent senior psychologist. Keep your head cool. You will get chance for SSB. But bro...... SSB is going to be very tough. Pray God so that I can qualify it. If I can do so. I shall come back on the board and update about SSB.

ReplyDeleteThey asked me about my present profession, socio-political issues and the reason behind my chosing TA... Duration of interview varies from 2-10 minutes, depending on the approach of the candidate. If they get interest in you, they will talk to you frankly.

ReplyDelete1) My domicile certificate is of MP (permanent address) & I'm presently working in pune (temporary address) so which zone do I need to submitt my application form to: Zone II or Zone IV, also am I eligible to give the exam from PUNE itself.
2) As per Point No 19: is it necessary to get it signed by the employer, as in my case he's refusing to do so. I mean just to appear only for written exam, does it need to be signed or is it a procedure after clearing the written exam ?? What if its not signed & I send my application form to the respective zone.

ReplyDeleteAt an outset, I would like to thank and appreciate the efforts of Moderator for having created such an awesome forum to address the queries of Territorial Army aspirants.
Now coming to the query, I successfully cleared my writer exam held on 2nd August 2015 from Bangalore Center. I learnt on 19th of September that the interviews are already completed on 7th and 8th of September for the candidates who have appeared from Bangalore Center. But I have not received any intimation or call letter either through e-mail or through post. I have also not received any phone call.
Can the anyone in the forum help me on the next course of action?
Note: I have put a message on the official website of Territorial Army Southern Command.

ReplyDeleteSYLLABUS/ PATTERN FOR CONDUCT OF
PRELIMINARY INTERVIEW BOARD (PIB) WRITTEN EXAM
1. The syllabus/ Pattern for PIB written Examination has been modified as under:-
(a) Syllabus for Exam, No of Questions & Marks

(b) Time. Maximum time for each paper is 02 hrs and will be conducted in two sessions from 1000hrs to 1200hrs and 1400hrs to 1600hrs.
(c) Type of Exam. Objective (OMR Answer Sheet will be used).
(d) Qualifying Marks. The candidates will have to score minimum 40% marks in each paper separately and have an overall average of 50% to qualify.
(e) Penalty for Wrong Answers. There will be penalty imposed for wrong answers marked by a candidate as under:-
(i) There will be four possible answers to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, half of the mark assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
(ii) If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happens to be correct. Penalty will be imposed as above.
(iii) There will be no penalty for questions not attempted.
2. The above change will be implemented with effect from the next PIB (tentatively in August 2016) onwards.
