Territorial Army is looking to enrol eligible civilians, who are already in gainful employment in government or semi-government, private sector or self-employed. 

State eligible: Telangana, Andhra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan and UTs of Goa, Daman & DIU, Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Lakshawdeep and Pondicherry.

Recruitment Rally in 150 Infantry Battalion of Territorial Army Punjab from March 26, 2015


150 Infantry Battalion of Territorial Army PUNJAB will be organizing a recruitment rally for the category of Soldier General Duty,  Chef community, Chef Mess at Dogra Ground, Jalandhar Cantt

States Eligible: Punjab,Chandigarh (UT),Haryana,Delhi,Himachal Pradesh,J&K

Place: Dogra Ground, Jalandhar Cantt, from  26 Mar to 28 Mar 2015 from  0600 hours onwards

Dates: 
Punjab and Chandigarh (UT) : 26 Mar 2015
Haryana and Delhi : 27 Mar 2015 
Himachal Pradesh and J&K : 28 Mar 2015.

The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 42 years, 50 kgs weight, 160 cms height and the chest should be 77-82 cms and the marital status of the candidate should be  Unmarried upto 21 Yrs of age.

Educational qualification :
Educational qualification required for Soldier General Duty should be 10th pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject or having qualification 10+2 for the candidates belonging to the states of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh (Except Kinnaur, Lahoul & Spiti districts) and district Jammu, Samba and Kathua of J & K state.  
Educational qualification for candidates belonging to the districts of Kinnaur, Lahaul & Spiti of Himachal Pradesh, all other districts of J&K state except Jammu, Samba, Kathua, region should be simple 10th pass.   
Educational qualification for the candidates belonging to the states of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Chandigarh, J&K (Jammu , Sambha & Kathua districts) and Himachal Pradesh (except Kinnor, Lahaul & Spiti districts)  should be 10th simple pass.  Whereas the candidates belonging to the districts of Kinnaur, Lahaul & Spiti of Himachal Pradesh and all districts of J&K  except Jammu, Sambha  and Kathua should be 8th class simple pass.

Educational qualification for the scheduled Tribes candidates of all states of zone should be 8th class pass.

The Infantry Battalion(TA) will hold a recruitment rally in Bengaluru for candidates from the Southern and Western regions.


The Infantry Battalion of the Territorial Army will hold a recruitment rally in Bengaluru for candidates from the Southern and Western regions.

The rally will be held on March 16 and 17 2015 for those in the age group 18-42 years, according to an official release.

The candidates must have the domicile of any of these states: Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli; Daman & Diu; Lakshadweep and Puducherry.

Candidates should report at 106 Infantry Battalion (TA) PARA, Inder Gill Lines, Benson Town - 560046 at 6 a.m. on the two days. 

They should bring original and attested documents of their education certificate, 12 copies of passport size photograph, caste certificate, character certificate and ration card/voter identity card. For details: the battalian office, telephone 080- 23333065.

Recruitment Rally for 112 Infantry Battalion (TA) DOGRA at Madhopur (Pathankot) from March 12 2015


112 Infantry Battalion (TA) DOGRA will organize a recruitment rally for Soldier General Duty, Clerk (Staff Duty) and tradesmen (Chef Community)

Place:126 Infantry Battalion (TA) JAK RIF, Madhopur (Pathankot) on 12 March 2015 at 0600 hours onwards.

Eligible States: Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi and Chandigarh (UT).

Age:18-42

Physical: weight not less than 50 Kgs, minimum chest measurement between 77 - 82 cms  and height should not be less than 160 cms for enrolment in the Territorial Army.

Educational Qualification: The candidates appearing as Soldiers General Duty should have passed matric examination with a minimum 45% marks in aggregate and 33 % in each subject.  Candidates with higher qualification need not have 45% marks.

Candidates appearing for Clerk (Staff Duty) should be 10+2/ Intermediate exam passed in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science with English) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and atleast 40% marks in each subject & should have proficiency in typing and operating a computer.

The candidates appearing for Chef Community should be 10th standard passed and proficient in their trade work. Preference will be given to Good Shooters/Computer literate/Vehicle Mechanic and sportsmen who have represented at National/State/District level and drivers of heavy vehicles with valid license for recruitment as soldiers (General Duty).

103 Infantry Battalion of Territorial Army SIKH Light Infantry will be organizing recruitment rally for the category of Soldier General Duty, Soldier clerk (Staff Duties) and Soldier (Tradesmen) from 06 Mar 2015 to 11 Mar 2015.

Place: at 152 Inf Bn (Territorial Army), near Jagraon bridge, Ludhiana.

Recruitment for the candidates belonging to the state of Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir and Union Territory of Chandigarh will be carried out on 06 Mar 2015 and for the candidates belonging to the states of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Delhi will be carried out on 07 Mar 2015. Documentation and Medical examination for screened candidates will be carried out from 08 Mar 2015 to 11 Mar 2015.

Educational qualification: For Soldier General Duty should be 10th pass with 45% marks except District of Lahaul Spiti and Kinnaur of HP for which 8th standard is minimum required. The educational qualification required for Clerk should be 10+2 exam pass (Arts, Commerce, Science with English) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and candidate should have secured minimum 40% marks in each subject.  The educational qualification required for Tradesman should be 10th class pass.

Recruitment Rally in The 159 Infantry Battalion Territorial Army (TA) (Home & Hearth) DOGRA


159 Infantry Battalion Territorial Army (Home & Hearth) DOGRA will be organizing Recruitment Rally for Soldier (General Duty) Category at Sports Stadium, Doda, J&K from 22 March to 29 March 2015. Eligible candidates may report for screening from 0500 hours till 1000 hours from 22 March to 29 March. 


A written test, Medical and Interview for the candidates screened in the rally will be held at Battalion Headquarters Location from 25 - 29 March,




The schedule of the Rally will be as follows (candidates are advised to be present at the venue of the Rally accordingly). On 22 March 2015, for the candidates of Kishtwar District, 23 March 2015, for the candidates of Doda District and 24 March 2015 for the candidates of Ramban District.

Age: Candidate should be from 18 to 42 years (Not born before 29 Mar 1973 and after 29 Mar 1997)

Physical test will include 1 Mile Run, Pull Ups, Balance walk on wooden beam and feet ditch. Intelligence test will be conducted in written objective type.

Height of the candidate should be 160 cm, weight minimum 50 Kgs and Chest 77 cm with expansion five cm.

Candidates are required to bring the certificates in original alongwith two sets of Photostat copy of the certificate attested by a Gazetted Officer : Birth certificate issued by Registrar of birth and death or 10th class board certificate showing date of birth, Nativity/State Subject/Domicile certificate issued by Tehsildar/SDM/DM/DC, Caste/tribe certificate/Community certificate issued by Tehsildar/SDM/DM, Character Certificate (issued within last six months) duly signed by Sarpanch/SHO/Principal of School only, Mark Sheet for 10th class and 12th class and above, if available, Married/unmarried certificate from Sarpanch/ Numberdar, 20 copies of latest colour photographs taken in last 06 months. Computer print photographs will not be accepted and Relationship certificate issued by Record Office concerned only or Father’s Discharge Book for Sons of Serviceman/Ex-Servicemen/War Widow
