Territorial Army contingent bags top R-Day parade award


FOR the first time, Territorial Army has pipped all regular contingents of the armed forces at the Republic Day parade to bag the top award of best marching contingent. The 103 Territorial Army (TA) battalion that participated in this year’s parade was Tuesday adjudged as the best among the armed forces.While the TA has been participating at the Republic Day parade since the beginning, 

  • 103 Infantry Battalion (TA) Sikh LI – Ludhiana contingent participating in Republic Day Parade.
The award for the best marching contingent has always been won by regular units of the Army, the Air Force and the Navy in the past.
The Ludhiana-based 103 (Sikh LI) contingent was selected after it won an internal competition within the 66 units of the TA.
“This is a big achievement as far as the TA is concerned. We are a part of the Indian Army and this is the first time that we have come first in the parade.It is encouraging news and will give us even more push to perform better,” Maj Gen A K Siwach, Additional Director General, TA.Told to media.

Admit card for TA Exam 2014


Hallo Terriers.....

After a long day i'm going post about Admit for Written Exam....

Actually I am very busy in preparing for my exams. So I am not spending more time in blog.

I have seen a majority of aspirants asking about ''status about their application,Whether they are selected or not''
So here i'm going to clear your doubts about call letter.

I had a 3 time experience of written exam.I have seen some of my friends didn't get their admit card because of their silly mistakes.
Candidates who have applied successfully for TA exam 2014 will get their admit card by post within 30 days -7 days before the exam.
Candidates are advised to check their admit card & bring discrepancy.

In the end I would like share Points that might be useful for anyone who takes this exam.
1.If you don't get admit card by time.Don't be Discouraged & have patience

2.If possible relieve yourself and have a glass of water. Stay calm and don't worry after seeing admit card receiver there.This might cause you to loss your confidence.

3.If you are not getting your admit card till now then wait for 7 days before the exam because some candidates may get admit card later.

4.You can contact your nearest TA units or headquarters to get your Status of admit card they might help you.
